I just checked the code, and tested it with a few IRC servers, it seems to be working fine for me. Try using a different username other than Gnuke, I have a feeling some servers might be banning it. | Since my original post I have been able to connect to one of the Efnet servers (Prison) and some DalNet servers seem to be working (I had not tried DalNet before writing the original post).
However, in no case do any of the servers report any ident responsealthough some will connect anyway. I have a feeling this is a problem on my end, something about the way I am firewalled, because after further investigation I see that mIRC is doing the same thing. I will look into this and report back if I solve it. |
