spammers in the region i am sure this has been covered before, but why is it that when you perform a search, an "obscure" search for the most part, you will get 3 files named: {search term}.url {serch term}.mpg {search term}.html ??? i have been seeing this regularly. i have never downloaded this stuff cause i know what it is, but how many users are there out there that do not know? do we know how to stop these knuckleheads from putting these scripts into gnutella? |
burn spammers burn Hi! I thought some of them are by ill script kiddies which want to spread their virii, others by p0rn sites to advertize without any costs, etc I wanted to write a flooding programm against them some months ago, but i dunno if this is "legal". I've read something about DoS attacks from the Gnutella net which can someone do anonymously, it would be funny to see their PCs crashed hehe |
they are not script kiddies, they are pros. i am quite sure of it. |
Spammers... I'm a newbie, but I figured this part out REAL fast! (That is, the annoying xxx.AVI/xxx.URL, etc. stuff which points to P0rn sites, etc.) Got an unplanned eyeful in the process too... |
