utter noob: help please (gnucleus lan)
 

ok, so my friend told me to download nucleus lan for filesharing over my university's network. So i google gnucleus lan and i get http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=32591 GnucleusLan 1.8.4
I don't know if what I'm doing is right, but it doesn't work. I run the program and I click auto-connect, and it lags the program pretty badly but it doesn't connect. Do I have the right program? Gnucleus 2.0.2.1 is p2p over the internet, right? so I don't want that?
I've tried looking through help and FAQs but it doesn't seem to help me...
