There are some people saying that Gnutella is being attacked by the RIAA like Napster was

Now I know that they can't shut down the network itself but they can shutdown the meeting places that users use to communicate like this one


i am trying to make a point here and that would be. . . add a chat protocol that would communicate directly with other copys of Gnucleus and try to make a good standard

who knows a direct connect gnutella chat protocol for all clients would really make us unstoppable

a place to share source code for diffrent clients on the network itself

or make it so when you right click on a partulclar file if it were on gnucleus or another compatable client that it would instant message someone

This would so rock if you could do this my router blocks all IRC communication so try to use a diffrent protocol and port like 6341 or something of an odd number like that

TRY TO DO THIS AND YOU WILL MAKE ALOT OF PEOPLE VERY HAPPY
