Default Connection problems

Hi everyone, hope you can help. I can sometimes connect to gnucleus, then the connection goes and i have to reboot and start again, then it constantly tries to connect but cannot connect.

When i get connected the bandwidth goes down to 0.00kb/s then all the connected nodes drop off.

I am also getting messages of GNU Local - Timed out when it tries to reconnect.

I also get the message - connecting - open and then it says SYN SENT and does not connect

When i try to connect to version check to see if there is an update it just hangs there trying to connect

Any ideas anyone?

Operating System - Win XP Pro SP2

version of your Gnutella Client - 2.2.0.0
Internet connection (56K, Cable, DSL) - DSL 2meg

I am also using Zone Alarms security suite.

Let me know if any of you can help.

Matt.
