![]() Ive just downloaded Gnucleus, and have no idea how to properly use the damn thing. What Ive learned about it, has been strictly through trial and error. I figured out how to use the search, and download files. I downloaded two songs last night, and it worked perfectly; but how do you put your stuff out there for other people to download? I read about a shared folder on one of your posts, but where do you find or create this folder? If I may suggest something to swabby, it would be to create a users manual for Gnucleus in either Adobe or Word, that we can download and use, to figure this program out. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there, who, like me, really have no idea how to properly use this software. How about it Swabby? Can you do this for us? It will pay off in the end, as more people will find and keep using Gnucleus, if they know how to use it. Thanks in advance, Glenn. |

![]() If someone would like to write one I'll include it with the install. I try to make this as simple as possible for users. I understand not everyone is an expert. My advice is that you're on the right track and beginning to understand gnucleus. Try looking through all the preferences. You'll find options to set a shared files directory and everything. Actually by default your download folder is your shared folder also, so that problem is already solved. You can add more shared folders through the preferences. Thats about it, it sounds like you have a pretty good grasp on how the program works already. And as I continue programming I'll try to make the blow easier for first time users. Try www.gnucleus.net for the FAQ, or add some FAQ questions of your own, just email me. |
