Lightbulb 2 suggestions -- temp dir, search filter

I recently tried out gnucleus, and I like it so far. Two suggestions though.

First, it would be nice if there was a preferences option for the location of the temp directory. As it is now, temp files are placed either in the gnucleus/temp directory or in the downloads directory.

Second, I'd like to see a customizable search filter for each search you run, like in Xolox and some other clients. I like having the filter preferences to always filter out certain file types, but as it is now, you'd have to ad in the file extension in the search. Its no so bad if you're looking for one specific one, but if you're looking for a video file, you'd have to run a search for each extension. Just a pull down menu with All Files, Video, Music, Images, etc. would be fine.

Thanks.
Shawn

yeah, file filters are necessary

It would be also cool, if Gnucleus would be able to automatically ignore

0 KB Files

to improve the search results.

I agree, file type searching would be nice.

I would also like to see some sort of 'unable to connect' automatic research.

i.e. If you are unable to connect have gnucleus automatically research for the file every say 10min. This shouldn't put undo stress on the network but would mean people don't have to constantly hit right click and manually research. Files that are busy already automatically research (default is 30s). This would also be especially helpful for people like me who are behind a firewall and cannot download from others who are behind firewalls.
