![]() First off, all my settings are below my questions. If I have left any pertinent information out, just tell me what you need. I have been running the client for a few hours now, and I don't think that people are able to d/l from me, but I am able to connect and download just fine. I was wondering if some one could help me figure out what the settings (specificaly, what ports) need to be. My second question is, what do I put in the "set Local IP to"? It doesn't make any sense to put my internal IP here, so would I put the IP of my NAT? Thanks in advance for helping me figure this out... I just don't want to be a freeloader. I only have 128 k upstream DSL, but hey, every bit helps right? Guy On The Couch OS - Win XP Home Built in firewall turned off NAT/Router D-Link DI-704 Vertual Server - Ports 6346 and 113 are routed to 192.168.0.5 (my local IP) Gnucleus Client 1.6.1.0 Local Node Properties - Set local IP to my *NAT's EXTERNAL* IP address (is this right? ![]() - Set incoming port to 6346 Firewall Options - I have not checked that I am behind a firewall (because I have the ports mapped, but I may be wrong ![]() Shared Directories - I have about 1.5 gigs of stuff I want to share Last edited by GuyOnTheCouch; February 17th, 2002 at 11:40 PM. |
