![]() I just tried, and apparently Gnucleus doesn't seem to like Unicode (for 09.欲.mp3 it found many mp3 files containing 09 in the file name, all written with the Latin alphabet). I'll try again tomorrow or so... By the way, regarding Foxy, indeed they're apparently using a modified version of GnucDNA and they created their own, proprietary network. Shareaza folks and especially the Beacon dev have been discussing it recently. Also, if you'd like to take a look at the current state of the G2 network, here's the crawler's URL: g2paranha - G2 Network Crawler |

![]() This morning (after I woke up) my files hasn't finished hashing yet (and it STILL hasn't gotten to my chinese MP3s...)... But yeah, it would be good if GnucDNA updated itself to be Unicode... and hopefully be compatible with Foxy... hence wider/ bigger network. So.. does Gnucleus index the meta data tags of MP3s aswell as filenames? Because Apple iTunes standard file formats is like: ARTIST\ALBUM\TRACK NO. TRACK NAME.mp3 If Gnucleus only index by file name then people never find those MP3s of an artist they search for. Also please update your signature to say ShareazaV5 & ShareazaV4 ![]() |
