i just installed the rpm for gtk-gnutella, i've been useing limewire so this is my first stab at gtk. For the life of me i can't get it to launch. I know to launch most programs i either type in the name, such as freeamp and it launches, or type /usr/local/bin/filename and it launches. Neither of these have worked, if someone can lend a hand here it would be appreciated.

the command is "gtk-gnutella". if that's what you tried, maybe double-check the spelling and verify the rpm installed correctly. also make sure you got the most recent version.

I think i tried that but don't remember. I'll try again tonight when i get home. Just incase it doesn't work, what is the best way to check and make sure that it installed correctly?

rpm -q gtk-gnutella

-q being the "query" option. it'll either show you the version, or tell you it's not installed.
