Oldfashioned concept? Isn't gtk-gnutella obsolete because it's programmed in C? It can't use STL or exchange code with other C++/OOP projects and will die in the end? |
who uses gtk-gnutella anyway? 10 users, 20 users worldwide? |
pffft, gtk-gnutella is sweet. ------------- Happy user of gtk-gnutella 0.90. |
at least one user, amazing. it's oldfashioned |
Hey, show me something better (that does not run under java). :D :D :D |
even Bearshare is better LOL |
Something better : Gnucleus, Shareaza, Bearshare, Atomwire (Gnucleus clone), Xolox, Morpheus (Gnucleus clone), Limewire, Mutella, Qtella, Phex, Napshare, Swapper... few ones are worse. |
Check your sources! Quote:
You said Napshare is better than gtk-gnutella. My poor friend, Napshare is a fork of gtk-gnutella at an earlier version that has not evolved much since! How could it be better? Goodbye, my friend! -- Peer |
peerogue, Napshare has 'AUTOMATION' feature, gtkgnutella not. |
back to first poster. how many projects would you find on source forge not being OO, how many are still interesting? |
