![]() I have noticed that limewire tends to be able to circumvent gtk-gnutella limits on the number of uploads by IP. The first requests may be denied at first but then may be accepted. This practice seems purposeful on the part of the limewire client. It quite annoys me because I have dialup that is up 75% of the time, but which has a dynamic (and a little unstable) IP. All it does is hurt them and other people interested in my files due to the greater probability of incomplete downloads. While I am frequently "found" again, it just does not seem neighborly. I am inclined to add IP's I happen to notice using this practice to my hostile list, but would certainly prefer a better solution. I am using a recent (within a week) cvs version on RH 7.3, |
