Default Gnut help.

Hi,

I'm running the command-line gnut on my linux machine. The installation was perfect, however, it is unable to find any web host caches. Even when I manually enter some server address, update and type "info h", it still says that the number of hosts is 0.

Can anybody help?

Much appreciated,
enchance

gnut is probably outdated like hell.
you may want to use gtk-gnutella CVS.

yeah, gnut doesn't even support gnutella/0.6 connections... If you must use a command-line client, use mutella.sf.net but this client doesn't have the best reputation and it is not very uptodate either.

gtk-gnutella.sf.net is probably really the best choice if you are looking for something that requires less than 80MBs RAM of you. - Myself, I'm using LimeWire (cvs -d :pserver:guest@cvs.limewire.org/cvs co limewire)
