Uhh? I was speaking about DDOS, not just DOS.
If one servant tells zillion of other servants in its Alternative-Location field Metallica's Sandman is on my servant's IP-address and in port 80, then half zillion servants will try to get Sandman from my host from port 80 where there is totally different service (D) but gnet, hence can cause DDOS.

Well, looks like the good doctor need to follow some rules.

Dr.Bombay September 28th, 2004 02:54 PM

Please forgive me for having broken any of the house rules, I do apologize and I have no excuse because I did not read the rules,

Well, that's cool Doc. You're among the very very few people (I can count them on my fingers) that have actually apologized. Apologies accepted. Besides, it's for your own good you know.
Giving off your email adress (even the free ones like Yahoo! and Hotmail) makes you a sitting duck target for spammers of all kinds.

I haven't been able to download a single file since upgrading! Has anyone else experienced this? I hardly ever get more than one connection up at the same time.
