Trying to Configure/Compile In the ReadMe that comes with Gtk-Gnutella it says to type the following in the console when in the extracted folder: To compile gtk-gnutella: Configure make make install When I type "Configure" and press enter I get this error: "bash: Configure: command not found" I have the required GTK and libxml installed. What gives? I am new to Linux, but I followed the directions exactly. It's a fresh Mandrake install btw. |
Please get and try the latest version (0.93.4). If the probem persists, please report it to the gtk-gnutella-users mailing list (see http://gtk-gnutella.sf.net) or visit the developers on IRC at #gtk-gnutella on irc.freenode.net. |
Try ./Configure |
Well, yes. I guess I was confused by the "make" and "make install". We had quite some trouble with people where Configure worked, but after make there was no binary in the src dir. |
