hosts in 0.12

SuSE Linux 7.3 comes with v 0.12 but I cannot get any hosts to show up and connect. Any one else have this problem? Can it work or should I just install v0.80?

You should install 0.85 beta2. The 0.12 version is way too ancient.

I had the same problem, I compiled and installed
V0.85 and it's the same: I cant connect any
host.

There is a .gtk-gnutella/hosts file. At the beginning
it was empty. When I saw that I could not find
any host I added hosts manually to that file, but
I still get nothing....

I also use Suse linux ver. 7.2.

I recommend to go to IRC on irc.openprojects.org (OPN), channel #gtk-gnutella, and request interactive help from there.

Some people will then be able to provide you with fresh addresses to try, and even diagnose your problem in realtime.
