Associate magnet with Phex I have installed the newest Phex, however the magnet links do not seem to be associated with Phex, but with another File-Sharing application. My simple question is: How can I get Phex to open when clicking on magnet links? Is there some way to make Phex associate, or do I need to do that manually? |
What OS are you using? |
Windows XP :) |
What is the command line arguments you need for magnet links? (So that Phex will import using magnet URI) Or, does Phex not support magnet links, but only Magma files? I tried it like this: [Phex] [magnet:...] Phex opened, but it didn't process the Magnet Link, as it seems. I think you need a command line in which in some way, the magnet link is specified. So how should I form such a command to import magnet links ? |
Sorry for the late response... been very busy recently... The startup parameter should be something like -uri <magnet> The registry entry should be something like [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.magnet] @="MagnetFile" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MagnetFile\shell\open\command] @="\"C:\\Programme\\Phex\\Phex.exe\" -uri \"%1\"" |
Thanks a lot, worked  |
