Default Outpost Firewall - Phex Rules?

hey,

im a new user of phex, i really like it so far, but something troubles me;

does anyone know which ports (tcp/udp) phex uses? or better yet; does anyone know of a good rule (a guide maybe?) for the outpost firewall so i dont have to give the javaw.exe process full access? i looked on their forums but didnt found anything interesting

thanks in advance!

Sure

Just go into the network tab.

Below the field with the connections, you see an IP address followed by a port (looks similar to 123.123.123.123:6346).

The part after the colon (":") is the port phex uses, UDP as well as TCP.

It chooses it randomly, when it is run first time on a system and keeps it afterwards (as long as you keep the config files ).

Have fun with Phex!

Looks good, but you still need to allow inbound TCP on the same port as the inbound UDP.

(Sorry that the reply took a week this time. I was 200km away from my computer )
