![]() I searched the forums and see a lot of different scenarios, and it makes me wonder of my own situation. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and Phex 3.0.2. Phex takes forever to locate server connections... unlike before, when I had XP. A coincidence? I don't have a Windows firewall enabled on this system (my actual firewall is BSD). Some time ago, I was unable to connect to P2P using some other applications like Limewire, which lead me to believe that Comcast was deliberately blocking certain ports (since I was able to prior). I know this isn't very specific information, but I'm trying to narrow this down as best I can. Anyone else see these problems? For one, I don't like Vista at all... and plan to rebuild this system back to XP when I have the time (I have a complex setup). Perhaps that will resolve the problem. Thanks. |
