Can't delete browser host addresses

:bangh: I have tried EVERYTHING [except prayer] to delete all the host addresses that I typed in Phex 3. I NEVER had ANYTHING on a computer that I could not delete. I guess this will be the FIRST. Can anyone please help me? Thanks a million!!!

Where did you type them?

Did "left click to select -> right-click -> remove" work?

Disconnect and Connect again?

Thanks for trying to help me

1. Phex 3 was opened
2. On left there is a block that says "Search Activity'
3. Click on "Browser Host"
4. You will be directed to "Type the host address here"
5. Host addresses were typed here, I can find no way to delete them

Try it maybe you can find a way to delete the addresses. I hope so!!! Thanks

I guess you are right... there is no way in the user interface to clear them...
The routine is implemented but not used anywhere ;)
In the next release you will be able to clear the host address by clicking 'Clear search history' in 'Options - User Interface - General'

To clear the history by hand open the file phexGuiPrefs.properties (see http://www.phex.org/wiki/index.php/Configuration_Files) and delete all lines starting with:
SearchTab.BrowseHostHistory

Gregor just fixed the Bug in SVN. You'll have to wait for the next Version to be able to do it from the gui.

Until then, just delete the Phex config-folder (wherever your system sstores config-files: folder ".phex").

Or cleaner: Just do what Gregor told you. You only need a text-editor.

And besides: Thanks for reporting the Bug!
