![]() I believe you are asking, can a proxy server hide my IP address? Yes it can. But if you are asking, can a proxy server hide my IP address from the authorities? Then the answer is no it can't. Just remember, your IP address is recorded by whatever server you use, so if you use a proxy server then that proxy will have a log of your IP and a log of the IP it substituted for yours. This the authority can get and, as you can guess, once they have your original IP then that will lead directly back to you. Shark Chum |
