Problem Persist! GregorK, thanks for you suggestion but the problem still will not go away......... I've the latest version of PHEX and have I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the DL music files will not go away......... There must be some way to fix this problem short of permannently uninstalling Phex.......... |
Could you give some more specifics, then? Operating System (Which Windows? I assume it's Windows). Phex Version. What exactly do you experience (How did you try to remove the files? With which program? Where is your download folder? Where is your folder for incompletes? And anything else which might be useful.) Could you remove the files when you had uninstalled Phex? |
Can't Delete DL Music Files Thanks for your reply.......... I've Phex 3 (3.2.0.102) and I typically high light then delete. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling from different servers to no avail. If you can't help, perhaps you or anyone could let me know how to delete my membership from this Forum. Thanks in advance. |
Do you mean "you highlight and delete in Phex"? Operating System (Which Windows? I assume it's Windows). What exactly do you experience (How did you try to remove the files? With which program? Where is your download folder? Where is your folder for incompletes? And anything else which might be useful.) Could you remove the files when you had uninstalled Phex? Sorry for nitpicking. This _is_ important for checking if you stumbled over bugs we don't know yet. |
I'm using Windows XP operating System, my Internet Connection 56K, Cable, DSL.........I've Phex version 3.2.0.102................and I need help deleting/removing 14 completed songs from the DownLoad Window. I've highlited all songs, as well as, individually and click on delete but nothing happens. I've also uninstall and reinstall from Netscape, Internet Explorer, Mizolla FireFox to no avail. They just won't go away...............HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I had a similar issue using LimeWire. And someone else had a similar problem as reported on this forum. From memory, they were like phantom files that didn't actually exist or were viral in some way that they affected how LW handled them ... perhaps something that affects java. Remove their incomplete files from the incomplete folder on your computer (Phex might need to be closed first). Then try deleting them. I think that's how I fixed it. In meantime I will see if I can find a post regarding it. |
