![]() Hi, I'm having problems watching videos.. It seems that some are, for want of a better word, "compressed" or multi layered and can't be watched properly. What happens when I veiw in media player it will say it's only 2 minutes long however once you start playing it and it get 3/4 the way through if you click the play bar back to 1/4 the way along you get the next bit and so on and so on.. Drives me nuts!!!!!!!!!!! So all the movie is there it just seems to be stacked up in sections, is there a way of solving this before I resort to curing the problem with a 5lb masons hammer??? |

![]() Just give the videolan client a try: VideoLAN - Free Software and Open Source video streaming solution for every OS! But about the videos: Some are not "compressed", but simply damaged. You can try downloading another version, or using the videolan client to view them (it is often able to ignore the issues). Besides: Using the videolan client is generally a good idea, because it can play many more formats than media player and it is safer to use (doesn't call back). As a plus, it's free software... ... did the videolan client solve the skipping problem?
