I've started phex a couple of hours ago and the window still hasn't opened.

Not sure if something is wrong or if it's the fact that I am sharing about 9000 files.

Any ideas?

A couple of hours is far to long to be related to the number of files (mine is at 140GiB - don't know the number of files right now).

It rather sounds like a bug which prevents Phex from starting.

Did you see the Phex logo (the cute fox)?

Which Version of Phex do you use?

Could you try starting Phex in a console?

From your share I assume, it did run correctly a while ago, right?

Hmmm I think I may have borked something with my linux install.

I'm redoing it to see if that's the problem.

What does it say, when you start it from the console?

Could you try the SVN version?

It didn't say anything when I started it from the console.

I did reinstall yesterday and have it working now.

How many files can it share?

Good to know that it runs, now :)

I didn't yet find a limit on the number of files.

I share about 16,000 files without problems, close to 160 GiB.

But please take care to only share files you are allowed to share.
