Load Time I've started phex a couple of hours ago and the window still hasn't opened. Not sure if something is wrong or if it's the fact that I am sharing about 9000 files. Any ideas? G-Man |
A couple of hours is far to long to be related to the number of files (mine is at 140GiB - don't know the number of files right now). It rather sounds like a bug which prevents Phex from starting. Did you see the Phex logo (the cute fox)? Which Version of Phex do you use? Could you try starting Phex in a console? From your share I assume, it did run correctly a while ago, right? |
Hmmm I think I may have borked something with my linux install. I'm redoing it to see if that's the problem. G-Man |
Please keep us informed, if it helps. What does it say, when you start it from the console? Could you try the SVN version? -> http://wiki.phex.org/Subversion |
It didn't say anything when I started it from the console. I did reinstall yesterday and have it working now. How many files can it share? G-Man |
Good to know that it runs, now :) I didn't yet find a limit on the number of files. I share about 16,000 files without problems, close to 160 GiB. But please take care to only share files you are allowed to share. |
