limewire will not close
 

i shutdown limewire and soon after it will restart on its own. someone please tell me how to stop this, thank you... my email is

Please run a virus scan over your computer.

You can get free antivirus programs in the net. One example is:
- AVG Free - Download antivirus and antispyware software for Windows XP and Vista

PS: Sleepless suggested (in a thread I found here) to boot in safe mode and then to run the antivirus software. That suggestion sounds good to me :)

PPS: You ventured into the Phex forum, so why don't you try out Phex? Maybe you'll like it :)
It's also a Gnutella program and connects to the same network as LimeWire.
