Pausing Downloads - Phex as a 1st time user of Phex I can't locate a pause option for downloads - have to restart and look for file again each time I sign in:( |
1 Attachment(s) Why would anybody use a pause button when first opening up a p2p program? Sounds like too many incomplete files, in which case purging the queue is probably wise. The Phex download Stop button has same effect as a Pause button. :) http://www.gnutellaforums.com/attach...top-button.gif |
only want to pause an incomplete file when logging OFF not when logging ON |
if i stop it it won't be there when I log on next, know this from previous experience....... |
I just re-opened my Phex & my download continued 'immediately' (within 3 seconds.) Wow never seen it start that fast before lol No need to pause or stop a download before logging off. I re-opened Phex yet again but this time after stopping the download, after re-opening the file was still in the download window & again, started downloading immediately. ;) (If you click the Remove button, then that will remove the download file permanently.) Perhaps you are confusing techniques with another gnutella program. ;) |
It you want to "pause" a download, just "stop" it and "start it again later on. Should work :) If it doesn't, then this is a serious bug which should be fixed. Please post in the Feature Requests board about the disappearing stopped downloads! |
