The solution: Try Gnucleus instead! Recommended. |
thanks but I have tried using it and don't like it plus I have to keep my firewall on medium to use it |
quote from bearshare.com "BearShare uses the Clip2 DSS host list exclusively to obtain the initial entry points into the Gnutella network. " quote from clip2.com We have discontinued our Gnutella, OpenNap, and JXTA network tracking services. Our Gnutella host cache (gnutellahosts.com:6346) and JXTA rendezvous (jxta.clip2.com:6001 & 6002) services have been discontinued as well. The Clip2 Reflector, a proxy-and-index server for Gnutella, is no longer available for download or supported, and we have discontinued our listing service for public-access Reflectors. best bet to get bearshare to work is enter ina new gnutella autohost like router.limewire.com or connect1.gnutellanet.com:6346 .. dont know if either will work tho |
