Ummm, I'm using a Netgear wireless router, and Geforce cable internet. Bearshare did work for a while, but now for the past 3 days its had the red light on saying host not connected, I even turned off my firewall, and still I have the red light. Looking at console, in Bearshare I have a few red lines: Loaded m_bEverUltrapeerCapable=false Download to TCP www.exactmobile.co.za:80 ("Microsoft-IIS/6.0") failed downloading "/cache.asp" --REQUEST-- GET /cache.asp?client=BEAR&version=5.2.4.7&hostfile=1 HTTP/1.1\r\n Connection: close\r\n Host: www.exactmobile.co.za\r\n User-Agent: BearShare 5.2.4.7\r\n \r\n --RESPONSE-- HTTP/1.1 200 OK\r\n Connection: close\r\n Date: Fri, 16 Jun 2006 22:52:04 GMT\r\n Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0\r\n X-Powered-By: ASP.NET\r\n Content-Length: 19479\r\n Content-Type: text/html\r\n Set-Cookie: ASPSESSIONIDAQDDSCCQ=ELEMKDJBIGJAPOAMGDGPPJKB; path=/\r\n Cache-control: private\r\n \r\n : data size=5516 too big for buffer If there's anymore information I could give you to help, I'd be glad to. |

Download and run the BearShare Diagnostics and post the results, then find the model numbers of the modem and router and post them too. Do you have any other computers hooked up? |

I've had bearshare for at least nine months and it's been nothing but perfect. About 3 months ago I noticed that I couldn't get certain titles to download at all. popular movies and what not. They'd que up but I'd get nothing. Than about 2 weeks ago my Bearshare quick all together. Like the previous people on this topic my hosts can't connect to give me the goods. I did the bearshare diagnostic but I don't know how to post it here. I have Time Warner cable and use their cable modem. The modems brand name is Webstar and it' s made by Scientific Atlanta. Inc |
