What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. Limewire 4.10.9 Pro Java 1.5.0_06 9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)? AOL Platinum 10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. 2 other pcs on a wired network 11. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. First time with LW, been with Bearshare for a couple of years 12. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. ![]() Do you see a brickwall in front of the small globe in the left bottom corner of the LW window?? If so, it means that you're firewalled. Do you use the exact setup for LW and BS on the other 2 computers?? Okay, for LW I would reckon you try to delete your " .limewire " preference folder as discribed in this thread (with LW completely closed, i.e. also in the system tray): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420 For Bearshare, hmm I've just started to use it by myself, what BS version do you use? Did you try to "Force to become an ultrapeer"? The function is located at Setup>Service at the bottom (at least it is there in my version). ![]()
