What is a "SPONSORED RESULT"?

When I'm searching, I often get results that include "(Sponsored Result)" in the title. Is this spam?

Yes. They are usually just links to a commercial site. Here's a clue (excuse this link is in the LimeWire section): Sponsored Results (click on link) Thus they are not real files.

they are evil...ignore them on general principal..and I guess you can expand the search results and choose to block every single host that has them...
