Please help! how to force ultrapeer mode? I'm developing some ********* gnutella application, and I need to test it with bearshare. The problem is that I've never been ultrapeer, even if I have an excellent connection, and remain up several days in a row (an reconnect again in short time). Any suggestions? Someone recommended me to use old beta versions of bearshare but one of them I tried just showed me a message saying "Expired". Thanks, M |

You would also need BearStart to run those betas. See this thread for the right betas and BearStart: Sticky: BearShare has been sabotaged. (1 2 3 4 5 ) |

thanks Aaron, I only changed the date manually, and it worked. the Bearshare beta opened. Then I selected the option, restarted all connections, and that's it! I'm a good ultrapeer, I deserve to be treated as a good one, =) |
