Default Please help! how to force ultrapeer mode?

I'm developing some ********* gnutella application, and I need to test it with bearshare. The problem is that I've never been ultrapeer, even if I have an excellent connection, and remain up several days in a row (an reconnect again in short time). Any suggestions?
Someone recommended me to use old beta versions of bearshare but one of them I tried just showed me a message saying "Expired".
Thanks, M
