cant connect

i had bearshare previously but i moved to a place with a firewall and now use a proxy server with port 8002.
anyone know if i can still use bearshare?

bearshare right now cant be used with proxies. :(

proxy servers

I am behind a firewall and have to use a proxy server for http connections, but BearShare still works, except on port 6346 which is blocked.

You http connect is proxied not you tcp packets? whe one one says proxie i think the whole computer is being a proxie not just there internet browser. if bearshare worked with a proxie it would have the settings need to direct it in the right way ?

I didn't know that the whole computer could be proxied like that. :( That must really suck.
