Seriously? No, I'm positive that I've downloaded on my old version of bearshare on my old laptop just fine on this exact same network with no problems. What do you mean "delete those INSTANCES of BS"? "Nortons pops ups" You're really confusing me, lol. |

I'm still using an ancient version of Norton's, so I can't say exactly what anything new looks like...in my version when you go into the program control area there is a 'rule' for programs that access the internet....simply highlight all instances of BS, then choose to remove them...then start up BS again and let new rules be created (controlled by your responses to the queries norton's will give)

firewalls hi, im new with LW, sick of wyzo ,u torrent etc.need all the help i can get. understand that windows firewall allows lw to transfer files and is automatically an exception to the wall. i m not using norton but avast home edition, any other firewalls i might have missed, there's also windows defender with vista. second question- how do you make a RANDOM PORT selection on LW? appreciate any feedback thanks |
