![]() I don't know what the heck happened it was running smooth as butter then the other day I got a pop up saying this version will no longer work please upgrade to latest version now and now I can't get any hosts to connect just a flashing red light on (host connect)? I even tried to install the old beta and Bearstart same issue it can't be a firewall or port thing because Limewire works fine any ideas? ![]() |

![]() patience.....simple as that...as long as your ISP isn't blocking gnutella traffic you should get connected if you wait a while (and yes, it sometimes can take up to 15 minutes)

![]() If you haven't been using it in awhile or you just installed it, then your host cache may have gone stale. Try refreshing it with this file: connect.zip Just unzip it into C:\Program Files\BearShare\db with BearShare shut down, and then restart it. Oh yeah, before I forget, try the version in this thread too, because you can shift it into ultrapeer mode, which is much stronger at finding peers to connect with.
