Go to Options/ Themes and select your new theme. Click “Apply” and restart LimeWire. two problems here: 1. is it normal that you must select "tools" from the master toolbar before you find "options" 2. when i select "options", there IS NO "themes" option in the selection space....AHHHHHHHHH!!! ....*whimpers in confusion* can no one help me!?!? |

argggg....i just tried that and thanks for the help but it didnt work. how would you zip everything in a file? i think thats where i messed up....so it might just be easier to start again and get more specific intrustions on how to so it works. |
Zip Your Way To Happiness Assuming your in Windows OS (I can't speak for MAC OS). To zip, (R) click on the folder you want to zip (or file) select "Compressed zip file" and it should zip the file for you. Best Of Luck |
a thank you so much it worked *big smile* |
im having problems turning the zip file back into a lwtp file. there is no .zip at the end of the "nameoftheme_theme"and if i add .zip then the ".zip" part of "nameoftheme_theme" is just part of the name. and if i add .lwtp it just turns into "nameoftheme_theme.lwtp.zip" |
FILE EXTENSIONS You say you can't see your file extensions after you create a zip file or other file. The extension is there. My guess is that you have your file extension switch turned off. In XP I believe you will find it in your setup section that is where you turn on/off your display, hidden files, etc. You either see all file extensions or none. "Adding" .xxx to a file name doesn't make it ABC.xxx it makes it ABC.xxx.hiddenextension. |
