even more elastic skin?

I was just discovering the skins for Limewire today. Making your own skins: Is there anyway it is possible to rename the buttons? I was interested in putting in new names/metaphors for the different buttons but not change the way they work or what they activate.

Looking forward to hear from you.

can I use the MessagesBundle.properties

Hi again

Just thought of something: can i use the MessagesBundle.properties to change the names of the buttons?
But the problem is probably that I cant preview it? Or I cannot put the properites into Limewire myself?
I am OSX user.

Please help happy programmers...

try doing a ctrl-click on LimeWire and "show package contents".

Under Resources you'll find English.lproj.
That one might help. If not, you'll have to compile LimeWire yourself, to change the button-names.

Thanks for the answer. I would not exactly call myself a programmer, so can you please explain a bit more.
In the folder you talk about there is only one document called English.lproj. How can I use that?

How do you compile LimeWire yourself, to change the button-names? I mean how do you get acces to the code?

Sorry for asking so much. I have a general understaning of programming but never done any java - yet! : )

Looking forward to hear more.

Thanks so far
Louise
