every time i reboot my Skin selection goes back to the basic limewire one

how come every time i reboot my computer my skin selection goes back to the basic limewire one? i want to keep the black skin but i don't know how to set it as default. please help!

maybe re-booting is the problem. why are you re-booting?

i'm no genius, but re-booting signifies going back to a certain point doesn't it?

sorry i meant after i turn off my computer for the night and turn it back on the following day

you might need to be a little more specific: like, is anything else happening with other options on L W, or other programs you have installed. i don't have a problem with my skins. whichever i leave with, i start with. hopefully someone else has an answer for you.

is there such a thing as a "bad" skin download???

its not a download its already a part of the limewire program
under view --> apply skins (i chose black).. but every time i close the program and reopen it, the default skin comes up and so i have to change it to the black skin every time on my own

i still don't know how to fix your prob. but, you might try this:

go to view, apply skins, get more skins, check out the colors. i think there's a black something in there.

it never ocurred to me to change my skin till y'all starting talking bout it. i changed mine yest, still there today.
