alright i dont know that much about this kind of stuff but why can't i get limewire running? i've got it installed and all, but everytime i click on it it searches for jrew.exe or soemthing like that. what do i need? i've downloaded the java runtime thing 1.3.1 or something like that and 1.4. i don't understand either one of them, but why can't i get it working? please help me

First, you are posting your request in the wrong forum.
Second, it'd help if you read the FAQs and the posts of the Installation forums.
Third, nobody not even the prophet himself, can help you, if you don't tell us what operating system you have, what the exact error message is, which version of LimeWire you installed, etc.

The more information you give us, the easier it is, to find a solution.

well i have windows 98, the message says "Windows is searching for javaw.exe. To locate the file yourself, click Browse" i have version 2.3.4. any tips? sorry about the wrong thing and all but i will post it there too. just needed some help quick. if u need anymore information ask

Seems like Java wan't installed properly... Or it was installed multiple times and not uninstalled correctly. Try uninstalling any version of java on your system completely and making a clean new installation. Maybe you also have to clean your registry from entries that concern other Java versions.

By the way, did you try browsing for that javaw.exe?
