error when limewire running

error when limewire running

I can run Limewire fine, but once I have the program open if I try to type in any other program except for limewire, then explorer crashes, and closes all programs that are running, except for limewire. I can type in limewire though, and download stuff fine it is just when I try to type in anything else

I am running windows XP Pro
Limewire version 2.4.4
Have tried on both my laptop, and desktop computer
Laptop is a P4 1.8
Desktop is an AMD 1400
