Well, been running for an hour and a half... and it's up to 25! Wait, that's down. Is this unusual? I run on a decent cable connections, and I set it to keep 6 connections up (and reset it every time I start it up). Limewire 2.5.3. Oh, one thing that could be skewing it, is that currently all the hosts I'm connected to are Morpheus clients. Could that explain it? |

Morpheus blocks our hostcount in order to save some bandwidth. Even if you drop all the morpheus connections you have, you still will not see an accurate hostcount because some of the LimeWire clients you are connected to will be connected to morpheus clients. Avi |

Interesting, good to know. How do the searches compare? Is there any difference between having Limewire or Morpheus ultrapeers? The search variety seems to have decreased in the past few months, would this be a possible cause? I would have thought having Morpheus users on the network would have added to the material available. |

I don't think it's necessary for LimeWire leaf nodes to connect to Morpheus Ultrapeers at all. Why not make LimeWire leaf nodes strongly prefer LimeWire ultrapeers?? |
