![]() Hello, I am running Windows XP and Limewire 2.5.3. When I minimize Limewire to the tray and then right click on it and choose about nothing happens. The system then throttles up to 100% utilization and then the only way for me to access limewire is to kill off the java proc. Any ideas? Thanks. |

![]() I have found that this was an old bug in the Windows specific DLL for the notification menu, which forgets to release some GDI resources used by the menu. There are also issues when running LimeWire on a non English version of Windows, or when lauching media files with an external player, because of filename encoding. This should be solved in a future release, once the proposed new DLL will get support for Windows 95. |

![]() There's also an unresolved issue when trying to display the About... dialog in Windows XP, because the notification icon may be initialized and used before proper support in LimeWire Java code gets properly initialized. Work is in progress to create a locking system between both components that enables proper initialization on fast systems with strong multitasking capabilities such as Windows XP. |
