problem w/ limewire mp3 player

i have been using limewire for awhile with no problems but this is the first time i have used the built-in player--- it wont play the songs. on continuous/shuffle mode, it just jumps from song to song and on single play, it highlights the song green and then stops. Can anyone help me?
