2.5.5 loses props, doesn't share files

Yes, I'm installed the *program* to the default path; I always have. The only thing different is the shared path.

I am running a Mac here. When I installed LimeWire 2.5.5 I thought it would keep all the settings but it did not I had to chouse what folder to download to and to auto clear completed downloads and so on. Is there a way for it to transfer the settings from one version to another I don't have LimeWire Pro but I have the Basic.

Hello!

LimeDude the saving of preferences in LW in the recent 2.5X versions can only preserve settings from a previous version of 2.5X and not earlier versions and also this neat function only works in the Windows installer so we Mac Users are left out on this function.

oh I wish they would add it in the next Mac version of LimeWire.
