Default Computers Freezes!

I have been using LimeWire v.2.5 since it was first introduced. Recently, in the past two months, while I have Limewire running it crashes my Macintosh o.s. 9.1 very bad. I don't understand what the problem is? Another problem that has developed is every file I download, the copmuter doesn't recognize. LimeWire has never given me trouble up until two months ago.

Or perhaps you haven't given enough information.

You did, at least manage to mention your OS - but "my computer crashes" and "The software doesn't work" isn't enough for anybody to begin diagnosing what your problem is.

When, exactly, does you computer crash? When you start LimeWire? When you close it? When you've left it running for a few minutes? hours? days? weeks? years?

What do you mean your computer doesn't recognise the files you download? MP3s? AVIs? MPGs? EXEs? SITs? ZIPs? All of them?

Or do you mean that your computer can't find them once downloaded? Or something else?

sniff, sniff......I think I smell a rat....a big hairy rat....in fact the rat may be so big, it might be a Bear...who doesn't share....is that you vinnie???
Doesn't seem to have the right cadence for vinnie, might be wrong though... *sniff* *sniff* smells like something else... like perhaps a particular bearshare forum (Labs) user who has a penchant for the mac OS.

Default argh

I gave up trying to fix my cookie settings a long time ago.

And yes, it was me, and I know who is being referred to in the thread.

Who is being referred to??? Whatever do you mean? Cookie settings??? Yeah, right. We all expect more from a developer than to know not of simple (and default, at that) browser settings.

Point is, this is obviously not Vinnie posting.... Am i crying wolf??? Would the real Vinnie please stand up?
