I can't connect to Limewire. When I try, I stay connected for a second and then get kicked off. I am using an ethernet connection at my dorm... does that have something to do with the problem?? If that is the problem does anyone know of another program I can use with a Mac OS X and ethernet?? Please help!

You can check to see if you have access to the gnutella network using the telnet test - telent router4.limewire.com 6346

If this returns "Gnutella OK" then you can access so there is some more local problem. If you don't get Gnutella OK then you will probably find that all P2P ports have been blocked unless you can find a HTTP solution.
