Default 2.6.0 Mac error

I've uninstalled and installed 2.6.0 on my OS9.2 mac many times, and it is still getting a error everytime during startup.
The error message includes "java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.awt.Color: method <init>(IIII)V not found"
And so on...
It pops up right after it says it's loading user interface. I can click ok on the error message pop-up, and it goes to loading messages...but that's as far as it ever goes and it never actually starts up.
So..umm...what is this error and how can I fix it if I can at all?

And I don't think my MRJ because that is all up-to-date and working all fine and dandy.

Thanks for the report. We've fixed this issue in 2.6.1, the currently available beta. Let us know if it gives you any more problems, however.
