I am running Limewire 2.6.3 Pro and I am having trouble with my downloads. If I get briefly disconnected the download will resume from the same client but it starts a new file instead of resuming where it left off.

My second problem is attempted downloads that get a buzy then retry are writing a zero byte file in my incomplete directory each time a connection is attempted.

This did not occur in earlier versions and it sounds like the two issues may be related.

I'm on a 56er and get disconnected in the middle of d/l sometimes. I experienced having a file start from new again using version 2.6.5. I now have 2.7 and will test it.

Try IRC too, some of my friends go on... irc.p2pchat.net.

Thanks for the responses. Peerless is correct that my incomplete folder will fill with zero byte files unless I manually remove them. I am still using 2.6.3 so maybe if I upgrade it will correct the issue.

KathW - I was not aware that 2.7 was out.
