LimeWire 2.7 PROBLEMS

I downloaded and installed LimeWire 2.7 today. Not only can I not launch files while downloading but after they've completed they're not QuickTime files! I tried reinstalling/downloading again -- but to no avail. What's the story? I've never had problems playing downloaded LimeWire music before.

Mac OS 9.4.1 here
