Scroll wheel now dead in 2.7.9! Looks like we lost mouse scroll wheel support in version 2.7.9 Though only a minor incovenience, it would be great to get it back in next beta. ;) |
Rutro's post puts me off downloading 2.7.9. Has anyone seen the mouse wheel working under windows with this latest version ? |
I don't think LimeWire has control over the scroll wheel support, since Sun's java.swing is completely responsible for it. Actually you won't find a single line of code in the LimeWire sources that tries to do anything with mouse wheel support. - I fear it's a bug in your java runtime environment, since mouse wheel support works with the latest LimeWire for linux. |
Baffled... Hmmm.... Interesting!... I'm sorta stumped... mouse wheel worked fine in 2.7.7 and dead in 2.7.9... I've made no changes in my JRE before/since the upgrade to 2.7.9  Could the new installer have affected my JRE? I'll investigate further. In the meantime, it would be helpful to get verification from someone on WIN XP/2000 that mouse wheel still works for them in 2.7.9 Thanks all |
Mystery continues.... Well.... attempting to rule out JRE issues... I've now upgraded my JRE from 1.4.0_02 to the current 1.4.1_01 Mouse wheel still dead in 2.7.9  |
rutro, LimeWire is having some problems with java so I guess that means when they come out with a version that works your scroll wheel will work. |
Try Java 1.4.0_3 I think that works. |
Work'in now.... Scroll wheel now works with LimeWire 2.7.11 and JRE 1.4.1_01 |
